The Association between Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Crohn’s Disease i (...)
Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic, autoinflammatory skin disease. Shalom et al. demonstrate in a large cross-sectional study an association between Crohn’s disease and hidradenitis suppurativa, but not with ulcerative colitis. This association supports the hypothesis that a similar pathogenic mechanism contributes to both diseases, providing new possibilities for functional studies and therapy development.

Subscribe to NutritionFacts.org’s free newsletter to receive our B12 infographic that covers the latest research takeaways and Dr. Greger’s updated recommendations: https://nutritionfacts.org/subscribe/ I often get questions about how to prepare certain foods to maximize their benefits, so I love when I can bring you videos like this one and Best Way to Cook Vegetables. I have a few more on optimum cooking methods, too.
