There are a few forms of magnesium - magnesium gluconate, magnesium malate, and magnesium oxide. The magnesium oxide pills are huge because in order to get the magnesium in it it's mostly oxide and very little magnesium, so the pills get bigger. You can absorb magnesium through the skin, so magnesium oil is another option, and then Epsom salt is another option. Epsom salts are magnesium sulfate and bathing in it you can absorb it through the skin. So, if you struggle with the diarrhea aspect, or maybe you already have problems with loose bowels and you're just trying to potentially get more magnesium, you might consider an oil or an Epsom salt bath on a nightly basis to be better options for yourself in terms of getting your magnesium. Even though magnesium is relatively safe and most people are deficient in it and for most people it is not going to be a problem, it's never a bad idea if you're doing something in higher doses chronically to have it evaluated. A red blood cell magnesium test is one of the better ways to evaluate your magnesium status. But the best way, in my experience, in my opinion, to really evaluate magnesium is through what's called lymphocyte proliferation where you're looking at magnesium levels not in the red blood cells but in the white blood cells. This is a very accurate way to help you assess magnesium deficiency. To connect with Dr. Osborne visit: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DoctorPeterO... If it's got added sweetener, added sugar in it, understand that for every carbohydrate sugar that you eat to break down one molecule of of sugar and running it through the proper biochemistry, there are eight different steps in that cycle. So if you're eating foods high in sugar, your body steals that magnesium from your own storage to process that sugar and try to convert it into energy. If that stress goes chronic, you're losing magnesium consistently. For coffee drinkers, the 20 ouncers, these big jugs, if you're drinking three, four cups a day, if you're the pot-a-day kind of person, the quantity of caffeine that you're consuming, know that caffeine is a diuretic that depletes magnesium at higher doses. Blood pressure medications deplete magnesium. Antacid medications deplete magnesium. Some antibiotics can deplete magnesium. Some antidepressants deplete magnesium. Some antiseizure medications can deplete magnesium. Either they deplete the nutrient itself or they inhibit your body to be able to use the nutrient or they actually cause an excessive excretion of that nutrient. If you've got inflammation in your GI tract and it's hindering or affecting your body's ability to digest and absorb nutrients from the food that you eat, then you are at risk for deficiency. Let's say your blood pressure's up and so the doctor prescribed you medicine for that and the medicine depletes your magnesium. Low Magnesium is known to cause your blood pressure to go up. It's partly because magnesium regulates muscle tension. Your heart's a muscle and so are your blood vessels and so if your blood vessels can't properly dilate and contract and dilate and contract and they're stuck kind of in a spastic or a spasmodic position, then it's going to increase the tension or the pressure on the wall of the arteries and that's what blood pressure elevations are. When we measure blood pressure, we're actually measuring the pressure on the arterial wall. And so if magnesium deficiency is present, it increases the pressure on that wall because it causes a vasoconstriction or a constriction of the blood vessel. So my point in saying this is if you're on the medicine to lower your blood pressure, but the medicine causes magnesium deficiency and magnesium deficiency, increases muscular tension on your vascular arterial tree and it creates an increase in your blood pressure. You can't just go after it with a medicine and expect that medicine is somehow miraculously going to fix why your body is driving up your blood pressure in the first place. Remember, elevations in blood pressure are a symptom of a deeper problem. To connect with Dr. Osborne visit: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DoctorPeterO... Magnesium Administration for Corona Infections
It isn’t very comfortable to realize the obvious. The perfect medicine for coronavirus hospital patients would be magnesium chloride given intravenously. Other studies show that combinations of... View Article

Hydrogen, Bicarbonate, Magnesium and ATP
The Nobel Prize was awarded to Dr. Peter Mitchell in 1978 for his theory of chemiosmosis. According to his model, Hydrogen is essential in the production of ATP in the mitochondria, the source of all energy in the cells, and therefore the body. This works through hydrogen dehydrogenase, a flavoprotein catalyzing the conversion of NAD+ to NADH... View Article

Click here to subscribe - https://www.glutenfreesociety.org/wxrn Website: https://drpeterosborne.com/ Magnesium has hundreds of different functions. Magnesium regulates energy production in your body, and it's one of the reasons why magnesium deficiency causes so many people problems with fatigue, carbohydrate intolerance, or sugar imbalances, because it helps your body to convert carbohydrate energy or carbohydrates into ATP, which is what the body uses for energy, so the regulation of energy production is one of its big priorities. Magnesium also regulates hormone production. You can't metabolize estrogen properly without magnesium. If you don't have adequate magnesium then your body can actually buildup toxic metabolites of estrogen that increase your risk of cancer. Now, aside from the electrical properties, the charge of magnesium and how it regulates the membranes and gates that help run your nerves, you also need magnesium to generate certain neurotransmitters, so in that regard it regulates not only the electrical function of the nervous system, but also the production of chemicals that regulate that electrical system. You also need magnesium for cell membrane production. This engine actually regulates dopamine and it regulates methylation, so it helps your body understand what methylation is. [Use of iodized salt and the risk of iodine overload]. - PubMed - NCBI
Iodine-deficiency disorders are a major problem of public health in Morocco. To mitigate this deficiency, the iodination of all the salt intended for human consumption in a proportion of 80 +/- 10 mg/kg of salt has become obligatory since a decree published in 1995. We estimated that this rate of io …

For most people, the cause of iodine deficiency has to do with poor diet. Poor diet means not getting adequate foods that contain iodine. Depleted soils are also another issue. Geographically speaking, river valleys generally tend to have a higher iodine concentration in the soil. So crops that are grown in those areas would tend take up that iodine and potentially have it show up on your dinner plate. Unfortunately most farming today is done in soils that don't get replenishment. Halides don't necessarily cause iodine deficiency, but halides compete with iodine for uptake into the thyroid glands.
